My new students of this batch are a risk-takers indeed. We had a reading poem activity and what they could show during pre-assessment session were above my expectation. So I challenged them to have a reading poem competition. Next week, the competition will begin. I did not promise them for any gifts. But it came to my mind yesterday for having these all:
pencil and eraser would be good. School has given us a bunch of stationaries, it was more than enough for a year of learning activities - my opinion. But I just wonder why did they always give white eraser instead of the black ones. Black erasers are softer and erase better. So I bought the black ones for them.

I love how colorful they are. Not really my type, but for children, that will do.
Lesson learnt: Being a teacher, you must be ready to have an occasionally extra money spent for your class’ activities. But it’s worth the money indeed :)
