Photo 26 Jan Thematic Learning Vs Transdisciplinary Approach. A while ago I had an opportunity to attend 1 day workshop held by diknas Batam about Thematic Learning. Do not laugh! I know thematic learning has been around for 6 years in our country, even back in 2003 when I was working for a learning book publisher, thematic learning has been an issue already that year. But in Batam, looks like they started a bit late. Never mind. Better late than never.  Using my new understanding, I tried to connect it with what I’ve known so far. Still a big question and a deep gap of understanding about our national curriculum. Let’s be positive, our national curriculum has never been this good before. Hopefully there would be some better changes ahead.
