Chinese culture always wins my heart in some ways. Whether it because my ancestors were once chinese or they are just simply stunning, Im not really sure about the reason. Chinese new year (and christmas too, to be honest), give joy feeling to me. It doesn’t have anything to do with beliefs; Im not talking about that.
Lion dance, visiting temples, lanterns, stunning decorations and cheongsam dress are special. So there I was, visiting one of the biggest buddhist temple in south asia; Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya.
Actually I went there several times to enjoy tranquility while watching people saying their pray in front of gigantic figure of Buddha and munching vegetarian menus in their canteen. If chicken doesn’t exist, it would be easier for me to become vegetarian :P
Well it doesn’t matter I went there for several times; being there during chinese new year celebration is another different pleasure.
